Almighty and everlasting God, whose only begotten Son, Jesus Christ the Good Shepherd, has said, "Other sheep I have that are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd;" let thy rich and abundant blessing rest upon the Old Roman Catholic Church [and the Society of Mercy], to the end that it may serve thy purpose by gathering in the lost and straying sheep. Enlighten, sanctify, and quicken it by the indwelling of the Holy Ghost, that suspicions and prejudices may be disarmed, and the other sheep being brought to hear and to know the voice of their true Shepherd thereby, all may be brought into full and perfect unity in the one fold of thy Holy Catholic Church, under the wise and loving keeping of thy vicar, through the same Jesus Christ, thy Son, who with thee and the Holy Ghost, liveth and reigneth God, world without end. Amen. |

O Lord Jesus, bless the work of the Society of Mercy. Keep its members faithful to your teaching. Help them to be instruments of your mercy. Grant it an increase in vocations so that your holy sacraments may be offered to all in need. O Mother Most Holy, intercede for its members and guide them to holiness.

Patroness of the Society of Mercy O my Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary, I offer myself entirely to Thy grace and to Thy overwhelming mercy today and forever, but mostly at the hour of my death do I dedicate myself to thee. To thee do I dedicate my body and soul, all my happiness and hope, all my sorrows and sufferings! I offer my life and the end of my life to Thy holy hands so that through Thy merits all my deeds and acts go according to Thy holy will and according to the will of Thy sweetest Son! Amen. |
