Ave Maria! The Lord be with you!
Welcome! I'm Father Dan, pastor of Holy Name of Mary and priest in the Society of Mercy. Thank you for taking the time to virtually visit us in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania. By God's grace, our chapel family continues to grow both in-person and online. We each come from different backgrounds, lands, and life experiences; yet, together, form one Body in Christ. Mary's Chapel doors, virtually or in-person, are open to ALL people of goodwill who seek Jesus. We are here to pray for you and with you!
I invite you to join us for Sunday Holy Mass, with Spiritual Communion, in the Virtual Chapel or on YouTube at 7AM EST (or anytime that is best for you) on Sunday mornings. Join us in-person on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month at 10:30AM EST inside our Chapel at 908 S. Main Street in Towanda. Everyone who seeks God's love is welcome to worship and receive Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. We also offer monthly Holy Mass for residents at Paul Reynolds Apartments in Troy and a worship and prayer service once a month for the Towanda Personal Care Home. If you are looking for a loving social group, please request to join Mary's Chapel Family. Our Associate Pastor, Father William, and myself are available for video-based Holy Confession, pastoral guidance, spiritual direction, and to bless you and yours from afar, simply drop an email or contact us. As the diverse people of God, let us say, "Yes," with the Virgin Mary and walk in the affirming love of the fruit of her womb, Jesus Christ. May we never forget the wisdom of St. Maximilian Kolbe, martyr of the Holocaust: "Never be afraid of loving Mary too much. You can never love her more than Jesus did." Our Media Director and my spouse, Anthony Almond, and our son and parish altar server, Daniel, also welcome you and look forward to praying with you in the Chapel online or in-person. We aren't here to judge, just to love. Peace and joy be yours as the Blessed Mother wraps you in her mantle of love. The Very Reverend Father Dan Storrs, SSM, MA + |
