"Marriage is based on the consent of the contracting parties, that is, on their will to give themselves, each to the other, mutually and definitively, in order to live a covenant of

faithful and fruitful love."

Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1662

HOLY NAME OF MARY WEDDINGS
INCLUSIVE

Our community welcomes all mutually loving couples who are prepared to enter into the sacrificial relationship of Christian marriage. We also understand that your life journey may include previous relationships or marriages which were neither healthy nor sustainable. We rejoice with you and your betrothed that, together, you have discovered and established a lasting love.

LGBTQ+couples are welcome here!

Holy Name of Mary is happy to assist you both in approaching the Sacrament of Marriage in the Catholic Church. Contact Father Daniel to begin planning today.

TRADITIONAL

Our community invites you to choose from the Nuptial Mass or the Rite of Marriage Outside the Mass. You and your betrothed will be able to choose your own options from several prayers and Scripture readings. We seek to offer a wedding liturgy that is faithful to the creeds of the Church, while meeting the unique needs of you both and your families.

Holy Name of Mary is honored to work with you to find space in Church of the Savior or other nearby Chapels. Our priest is also happy to offer the Sacrament of Marriage in any dignified location of your choosing.

FRIENDLY

Our community knows that weddings in the Church can often feel like an obstacle course that costs a small fortune. From the moment you begin to plan with our priest, rest assured that your dignity and love for one another will be honored. While marriage requires thoughtful prayer and preparation, we believe this should be a journey of discovery and falling more deeply in love with God and your future spouse. We will do our best to be sure your wedding day is one of sacred joy!

Holy Name of Mary is not your typical Catholic community. If you have been turned away by other parishes, please contact us and let's chat.
